What the Practice Library is
The Practice Library is thousands of printable worksheets, arranged in skill sets across
five subjects, Kindergarten through 5th Grade.
A set covers one skill — Sight Words, Place Value, Addition with Regrouping, Main Idea and Details —
and holds every sheet the library has for it in one place.
These are practice pages, and the library is not a curriculum. A curriculum decides what is taught,
in what order, and how it is introduced; these sheets give a child the repetitions afterwards, once
a skill has already been taught. On the reading side that teaching sequence is
Phonics, Decoding, and Early Fluency;
on the math side it is Building Number Sense.
Every subject, grade and set page in this directory names the program its sheets support, and links to it.
How the open sheets work
The first three worksheets in every set are open to everyone. Each
is the whole worksheet as a PDF, not a watermarked sample or a cropped preview.
The rest of each set is part of All Access, $39 a month — one household, every child, every grade.
Three sheets is usually enough to print, teach with once,
and decide whether a set is pitched where your child actually is.

What each subject covers
Five subjects, each with its own grade pages underneath. Coverage is not even across subjects or grades,
and it is worth knowing that before planning a year: every subject page names the grades it covers and
the skills in each.
Kindergarten to 5th Grade
Designed practice pages for every operation and skill, each with a worked answer key. A short King James verse sits at the foot of most pages; the arithmetic itself stays arithmetic.
Skills include: Numbers & Place Value · The Four Operations · Measurement, Money & Time · Geometry & Data · Sorting, Patterns & Logic · Word Problems & Reasoning · Practice, Fluency & Labs · Fractions & Decimals
Kindergarten to 5th Grade
The strand that tracks the reading curriculum most closely: letter sounds first, then the vowel patterns, the consonant teams, and the endings and spellings that carry a child from sounding out into reading connected text.
Skills include: Alphabet & Letter Recognition · Consonant Teams & Digraphs · Early Spelling · Reading Practice Activities · Short Vowels · Sight Words & Phonemic Awareness · Long Vowels · R-Controlled Vowels · Silent Letters · Special Sounds & Endings · Spelling & Word Work · Syllables
Kindergarten to 5th Grade
Word study rather than word lists — what a prefix or a suffix does to a root, and how one Greek or Latin root turns up again in words a child already half knows.
Skills include: Vocabulary Skills · Plurals & Word Forms · Prefixes · Suffixes · Greek & Latin Roots
Kindergarten to 5th Grade
Passages with questions, plus the fluency and close-reading work that goes with them. This is the connected-text side of practice; the reading itself is sequenced in the Decodable Readers.
Skills include: Foundational Comprehension · Comprehension
Kindergarten to 5th Grade
Parts of speech, sentence building, capitalization and punctuation, editing, short written response, letter formation, and Bible-verse copywork from the New King James Version.
Skills include: Grammar · Writing · Handwriting
How to find the right sheet
Four steps: subject, then grade, then cluster, then set. The shelf at the top of this page is the first
two — each subject row carries a chip for every grade it covers. A grade page groups its sets into
clusters, roughly in the order the skills are taught, and a set page holds the sheets themselves with the
open ones first.
If you already know the skill by name, the search box above searches every set by title:
type fractions,
short a or telling time and go straight there.
Print from the grade that holds the skill, not the one that matches your child’s age. Sets are named
by skill rather than by year, so you can find the thing you are actually stuck on and take the sheets from
wherever they sit — a 4th Grader who never secured place value can work the 2nd Grade place-value set.
Every set page opens with a short teaching note before the sheets: what the skill is, when a child is ready
for it, and what to try if it does not click. If you are not sure which grade to work from, the
HARVEST placement check is open to everyone.
