Are these a reading curriculum?

No. They are connected-text practice that follows a phonics lesson. Phonics, Decoding and Early Fluency is the curriculum; these are what a child reads once a pattern has been taught.

Can I use them with a different phonics program?

Yes. The readers are not tied to one phonics sequence, ours included, so look over each reader first and choose the ones that fit the patterns your child has already covered rather than working straight through.
