Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Faith Schooling (the “Site”) is a United States–based provider of Christian K–5 educational materials. You can reach us anytime through our contact page.

2. What we collect — and what we don’t

We try to collect as little as possible. Here’s the full inventory:

• Email address and first name — when you sign up for our email list or purchase a product. Used to send what you asked for and occasional updates about new materials. You can unsubscribe with one click in any email.
• Payment information — processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not see or store your full card number. We retain only the last four digits and the transaction ID for our records.
• Server logs — IP address, browser type, pages visited, referrer. Standard web-server data, retained for 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

3. What we do NOT collect

• We do not collect children’s personally identifiable information. The HARVEST placement assessment runs entirely in your browser; your child’s answers and the resulting report never leave your device.
• We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
• We do not run third-party advertising tracking on our pages.

4. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies to make the Site work:

• Session cookie — keeps you logged in if you have an account.
• Theme preference — remembers if you chose dark or light mode.
• Local storage (HARVEST only) — the assessment uses your browser’s local storage to save progress between sessions. This data stays on your device.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Email

If you give us your email address, we’ll use it to send what you asked for (a download, an order receipt) plus occasional updates from Faith Schooling. We never share your email with anyone outside our email service provider (used solely to deliver our own emails).

Every email we send has a one-click unsubscribe link. If you unsubscribe, we remove you from active mailings within 24 hours.

6. Children’s privacy (COPPA)

Faith Schooling is designed for parents and teachers, not directly for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The HARVEST assessment is operated by the parent/teacher and runs locally in the browser; we never receive your child’s answers.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Confirm what information we hold about you.
• Correct or update it.
• Delete it (subject to our legitimate need to keep order records for tax/refund purposes).

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be announced to the email list.
