Where should I start?

Start with the route below that matches your need. If you want a complete K-5 system, take the HARVEST reading placement first, then open the curriculum map. If you only want reading, or only printables, skip straight to that route. Several parts of the site are open to everyone at no cost.

Faith Schooling is a curriculum publisher, not a school. There is no enrollment, no accreditation and no grading service, and we do not currently publish science or history programs. Everything below is material you teach and your child works through at home, in a co-op, or in a classroom.

Route 1: you want a complete K-5 system

This is the fullest path: reading and language arts as the spine, math beside it, handwriting as a companion, and printable practice underneath. Work through it in this order. Each step tells you what the next one assumes, so you are never guessing which book comes first.

1. Place the reader. HARVEST is a browser assessment, about fifteen minutes in seven sections, and it names a starting point in the Faith Readers sequence. It runs on your device and nothing is uploaded.
2. Choose the reading format. Phonics, Decoding and Early Fluency is the same year in six grade-level student textbooks with teaching guides. Faith Readers Weekly Lessons is the same sequence as 210 print-ready weekly sets. Most families pick one, not both.
3. Add math. Building Number Sense is the sequenced K-5 arithmetic series. Kindergarten through Grade 2 also have coordinated practice workbooks and teaching guides; Grades 3 to 5 currently ship the student text.
4. Add handwriting when the child is ready. Learning Cursive is ten workbooks, 170 pages, readiness strokes through fluent cursive.
5. Use the Practice Library for reinforcement, not instruction. The first three worksheets in every set are open to everyone.
6. Read the pricing before you decide. One household membership covers every child and every grade.

Route 2: you want reading only

Plenty of families already have math they like and only want the reading fixed. That is a supported way to use this. The reading line stands on its own, and each piece below teaches a different part of the job rather than repeating it.

1. HARVEST first, so you start at the right point rather than at the child's age.
2. Phonics, Decoding and Early Fluency, or the weekly lesson sets, as the core sequence.
3. Decodable Readers: 300 original stories, fifty per grade, written so the child reads only patterns already taught.
4. Foundations to Fluency: 96 workbooks across six levels, one phonics pattern at a time, by pattern rather than by grade. Useful when a specific pattern is the problem.
5. Phonics Lab: 150 K-5 worksheets, each with an answer key, for the spelling side of reading.

Route 3: you want printable practice, not a curriculum

The Practice Library is practice. It reinforces a lesson someone else taught; it does not teach the lesson itself. If you want the teaching, you want Route 1 or Route 2. If you want pages to hand a child who has already been taught the skill, this is the right door.

The library holds more than 30,000 print-ready worksheets across more than 500 skill sets, organised subject first, then grade, then skill. The first three worksheets in every set are open to everyone, so you can print and judge the quality before deciding anything.

Route 4: you are teaching several children at once

One membership covers a single household across every grade from Kindergarten to Grade 5, with no per-child limits. There are no per-child or per-grade upgrades, so a family of five pays what a family of one pays.

• Run HARVEST separately for each child. Two children the same age often place differently, and that is the point.
• Where two children need the same phonics pattern at different ages, use Foundations to Fluency. It is organised by pattern, not by grade, so one workbook serves both.
• Print the weekly lesson sets per child and teach from the one preceptor guide.
• Use the Member Workspace to search the member library and combine worksheets from the practice libraries into a single printable packet, up to 120 sheets per build, instead of printing from several places.

Membership and pricing Foundations to Fluency

Route 5: you run a co-op, microschool or classroom

The household membership does not cover co-ops, classrooms, churches, tutoring businesses, file sharing or redistribution. Co-op and school licensing is available by request through the contact page, so tell us about your group and we will set up the right access rather than selling you the wrong one.

For group teaching, the weekly lesson sets are usually the better format: 210 weekly sets across six grades, each holding five short daily lessons and a seven-page preceptor guide that tells the adult what to say and do. The entire Apostolic Academy is free and open to everyone, including churches and classes.

What costs nothing

You can evaluate a great deal before paying anything. HARVEST is free. All 80 K-3 word groups and all four modes of the Phonics Builder game are open to everyone. Grammar Garden opens seven modes and three stories; the K-4 math game opens two paths in each of its grades. The first three worksheets in every practice set are open to everyone.

The entire Apostolic Academy is free: 55 articles and 7 printables across four pathways, The Hidden Word Scripture memory curriculum, the ten-volume By Many Witnesses church history, study guides and family printables. Nothing in the Academy sits behind a membership.

Then what?
