Who Is Behind Faith Schooling

Tyler’s background includes classroom teaching, business, military service, healthcare, emergency medical services, and agriculture. But the greatest influence behind Faith Schooling is his experience as a Christian father personally responsible for his daughter’s education.

As an active homeschool parent, Tyler maintains connections with numerous homeschooling groups and families. Through these relationships, he listened to parents describe what they valued in existing curricula, the challenges they faced, and what they wished was available.

Those conversations revealed a recurring need: a genuinely Christian, academically strong, print-focused curriculum that parents could confidently teach without relying heavily on screens or entertainment.

Faith Schooling was developed to help fill that gap.

Why Faith Schooling Was Built

Before developing Faith Schooling, Tyler spent time gathering feedback from homeschooling families and considering the needs that existing programs were not fully meeting.

Parents wanted strong academics without sacrificing biblical convictions. They wanted real textbooks, meaningful worksheets, clear teaching instructions, and the flexibility to teach according to their child’s understanding rather than a rigid schedule.

These concerns reflected what Tyler wanted for his own daughter.

He envisioned a curriculum where Scripture was foundational, parents remained actively involved, and children progressed through genuine understanding and mastery.

That vision, shaped by both personal experience and feedback from the homeschooling community, became Faith Schooling.

His Role in Curriculum Development

Tyler directs the development of Faith Schooling’s instructional systems, including curriculum structure, academic scope and sequence, parent teaching guidance, practice materials, and placement and mastery assessments.

His experience in classroom instruction, business education, and hands-on homeschooling informs an approach emphasizing organized instruction, purposeful practice, and measurable learning.

Faith Schooling includes structured K–5 reading and language arts, handwriting, and mathematics, along with a growing printable worksheet library, assessments, Sunday school resources, Bible studies, and discipleship materials through the Apostolic Academy.

As founder, he also maintains final approval over curriculum quality, instructional standards, doctrinal accuracy, and published content in accordance with Faith Schooling’s editorial policy.
