Sequenced student text
Instruction moves from warm-up and explicit modeling into guided practice, independent work, application, and review.
Faith Thinkers · Core math curriculum · K–5
Traditional Arithmetic & Logic
The sequenced K–5 mathematics series of the Faith Thinkers family. All six student texts teach computation, number relationships, patterns, measurement, geometry, and reasoning in the same order every time: explicit modeling, guided work, independent application, word problems, and review. Kindergarten through Grade 2 also include a coordinated practice workbook and a complete teaching guide; Grades 3–5 pair their student texts with the extensive Math Practice Library.

Building Number Sense is the lesson sequence of the Faith Thinkers family; the Math Practice Library is the practice. The two stay distinct on purpose, so you always know which one you are holding.

A transparent curriculum presentation
Every grade shows the actual student text, the skills taught, the included practice and teaching support, and substantial sample pages. Families can inspect the level, instructional approach, and complete grade package before choosing where to begin.
Instruction moves from warm-up and explicit modeling into guided practice, independent work, application, and review.
Kindergarten through Grade 2 include coordinated practice workbooks for additional independent work.
Complete Kindergarten through Grade 2 teaching guides can be read online before enrollment, giving parents a clear view of lesson structure, modeling, pacing, and expected responses.
Eight substantial sample pages per grade show the level, layout, modeling, computation, and reasoning your child will encounter.
Kindergarten through Grade 5
Every grade page provides the cover, scope, component list, and eight hand-picked previews from across the student text.
Kindergarten
Concrete pictures and number models build counting to twenty, comparison, putting together, and taking away.
Grade 1
Students move from numbers to one hundred into addition and subtraction, place value, measurement, time, and skip-counting.
Grade 2
Place value to one thousand supports multi-digit operations, money and measurement, equal groups, and first fraction reasoning.
Grade 3
Students strengthen place value and estimation, then develop multiplication, division, fractions, measurement, and data reasoning.
Grade 4
Large-number reasoning leads into multi-digit multiplication and division, fraction operations, decimals, geometry, and data.
Grade 5
Decimal and fraction operations grow into volume, the coordinate plane, order of operations, and analysis of data.
