Statement of faith
Faith Schooling is a Christian publisher with an Apostolic foundation. Our doctrinal baseline is the Articles of Faith of the United Pentecostal Church International (2023). We are an independent family publisher; our materials are not published, endorsed, or certified by the UPCI or any other organization. We state our convictions plainly so that every family knows what it is bringing into its home.
The Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God — God-breathed — and the only God-given authority for doctrine, faith, and practice. It is truth, and it is the lens through which every other kind of knowledge is weighed. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, and reason serves revelation rather than judging it.

There is one God, who has revealed Himself as Father in creation, as Son in redemption, and as the Holy Spirit at work in the church. Jesus Christ is that one God manifested in the flesh: in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and there is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved.

Acts 2:38 is the plan of salvation, the new birth of water and Spirit that Jesus described in John 3:5. It begins with faith in Jesus Christ — a faith that obeys — and moves through repentance (a changed mind that turns from sin to God), water baptism by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. Salvation is kept by continuing in faith and holiness to the end; we do not teach that it cannot be forfeited.

God calls His people to be holy as He is holy — set apart to Him inwardly, in a purified heart, and outwardly, in conduct and appearance that are distinct from the world. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, so it is consecrated: modesty, restraint in adornment, and the distinction between men and women in appearance are part of that consecration.

The church is a called-out, gathered people who continue steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayer. Every believer belongs to a local body, supplies something to it, and walks under the care of pastors who watch for souls. Belonging is a covenant, not a preference.

Jesus Christ is coming again. We look for the blessed hope and the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, and we raise children to live ready.

God gave children to parents, and parents the charge to teach them diligently — when they sit at home, walk by the way, lie down, and rise up. A Christian education is one in which the fear of the LORD is the starting point of every subject, not a verse added beside it.

In the academic programs, faith appears as Scripture memory, Bible heroes and virtues, prayer, and — in the upper grades — reading that examines worldviews against the Word. Phonics is phonics and arithmetic is arithmetic; a page that teaches long vowels does not teach doctrine. Our academic programs quote the New King James Version. The Hidden Word, our Scripture memory program, uses the King James Version because Bible quizzing does.
Doctrine is taught directly, and only, in the Apostolic Academy study guides and articles, where every position above is opened from Scripture with its reasoning shown. Where our reading of a passage is an interpretation rather than a bare statement of the text, the guides say so; we do not need to overstate our case to hold it.
