Inside
Four worksheets, four teacher keys
Nouns: underline every naming word in six sentences, then supply your own person, place, and thing. Verbs: circle the action word in six sentences, then finish three more. Complete Sentences: mark six items yes or no, then turn two fragments into sentences. Capital Letters and End Marks, set at Grade 2: rewrite five sentences correctly. Each sheet has a facing key with the answers, sample answers where more than one is right, and a short teaching note.
Who it suits
Grades 1 and 2, for one short week
Four sheets is a week of grammar, a review before a term starts, or a plain look at what a Faith Readers practice page is before you commit to anything. Every sentence is drawn from Scripture or church life, and each sheet closes with an NKJV verse to copy neatly: Psalm 19:1, 1 Corinthians 10:31, Psalm 150:6, and Proverbs 3:5.
Honest limits
A sampler, not a grammar course
Four skills is all it holds. It does not sequence, review, or reteach, and there is no second sheet if the first one does not stick. Grammar Garden teaches the parts of speech as a game, and the grammar and writing practice sets carry the volume.
How to use it
One sheet a day, keys kept back
The file is nine pages: a title page, then the four worksheets and their four keys. Print the worksheets and keep the key pages for yourself. Take one sheet a day and read the sentences aloud together first, because the point of the sheet is the naming word or the action word, not the reading. Let the child mark the page, then check it beside you rather than handing it back later. The closing verse line is handwriting practice, not a test — slow, formed letters matter more than finishing the line. If a sheet goes badly, the teaching note on its key tells you what the skill actually asks for, and repeating the same sheet a week later is a reasonable next step.
