Seven day pages, a parent guide, and a review
Page two is written for the teaching parent: what each day holds, which subjects are woven through it, and how to run a page. Then seven day pages follow Genesis 1 and 2 in order. Each has an objective, a short retelling of the passage, four Words to Know, a copywork line, a Look and Learn observation to do outdoors, two Talk About It questions, separate Little Ones and Growing Learners activities, and a box to draw what God made that day. The last page is a review checklist.
Who it suits
Kindergarten to Grade 3, together
The split activities are what make one page work for a mixed-age family. On Day 3 a little one plants a seed in a cup of soil while an older child labels root, stem, leaf, and seed and records how it grows. The retelling is read aloud, so a child who cannot yet read is not left out.
In practice
One page a day for a week
Read the retelling, copy the line, go outside for Look and Learn, then talk through the two questions. Genesis 1:1 sits on every page as the memory verse, so it is learned by repetition across the week rather than drilled. Finish on the review page, where the child says the seven days in order and draws one thing to thank God for.
Honest limits
A Bible unit with nature study in it
This is not a science course. The Look and Learn work is observing, naming, and thanking God, not measurement or experiment. There are no answer keys because the questions are for discussion, not marking. The complete unit is free to download and print.
