Free Bible Word Puzzles
Word puzzles whose words all come out of the chapter being studied. Children of seven and upward find them in a search or recover them from context clues; children of ten and upward decode a phrase and then explain what it means from the passage. Every puzzle ends in a Bible question, not just a filled grid.
Everything here is free to download, print and copy for your class. Open to everyone.
How these are built
A puzzle here is a way into the text rather than a reward after it: the words are the passage's own vocabulary, and the sheet asks what they mean in their setting. Word searches include a visual solution in the lesson's teacher guide.
