Before you teach it

Read Genesis 1:1-31. God creates by His word and calls His creation good; people are made in God's image. Do not depict God as a human figure or claim the plural wording proves separate divine persons. Pictures show representative plants and creatures; exact species, appearance and pictured fruit counts are artistic choices. The tree's three fruits are a count of the illustration, not a number supplied in Genesis. 'Fowl' means birds. Offer pointing, oral responses and a scribe; supervise all cutting and folding.
