What it teaches
Decode Peter's command, connect it to his proclamation about Jesus, and explain the commands and promise in Acts 2:38-39.
Repent, and be baptized
Acts 2:38 (KJV)
Teacher notes
Decoding is a warm-up. Read Peter's proclamation and the listeners' question, then investigate his response and promise positively. Ask for supported comprehension, not hypothetical doctrinal disputes.
Answer
Code: REPENT AND BE BAPTIZED. Baptized in the name of Jesus Christ; gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38). The code omits punctuation and uses capitals; it is an activity encoding of an exact phrase, not a replacement Bible quotation.
