What the child does
Color the ark. Point to its door.
What it teaches
Recognize the ark and retell that Noah did what God commanded.
Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.
Genesis 6:22 (KJV)
Teacher notes
Read Genesis 6:14 and 22. Let children point to the side door and color the large open areas. The simple timber vessel is a reconstruction; Scripture gives dimensions, stories and a side door, not this exact appearance.
Answer
An ark (Genesis 6:14). Noah obeyed God's command (6:22). Ask the child to point; no reading or writing is required.
