Matthew 6:5-15; Luke 11:1-13 (KJV)
This free Sunday School lesson teaches Matthew 6 and Luke 11, where Jesus tells His disciples how to pray and gives them the prayer that begins Our Father which art in heaven. It is written for ages 2 to 12, and children learn what Jesus said about praying sincerely, and what He put into the prayer. Each age group gets six printable activities.

Sunday School lesson
Children learn the prayer Jesus gave, beginning Our Father which art in heaven, and that prayer is spoken to the one God rather than performed for people to see. It is instruction in prayer, and the lesson does not present it in place of the gospel response in Acts 2:38.
Each age group has six different activities, chosen for what a child of that age can do. Read any one on screen before you print it.

Teach sincere relationship with the one God in Apostolic Oneness alignment; do not draw another divine person in heaven. The Lord's Prayer is prayer instruction, not a replacement for the Acts 2:38 new-birth response. Hands and bread are visual reminders; no particular hand posture or bread count is prescribed. Never promise every requested object will be received. Pictures are visual reminders; species, clothing, exact shapes and small scene details are reconstructions unless the passage states them. Offer pointing, oral answers or a scribe. Supervise all cutting. Read the cited verses before using the activities.
