What is actually free here

Faith Schooling's free printables are the first three worksheets in every one of 529 skill sets in the practice library — about 1,500 sheets from Pre-K through Grade 5 — plus every printable in the Apostolic Academy, which is free in full. All of it is open to everyone.

That is the whole picture, stated plainly. There is no separate printables vault, and nothing appears later that was hidden before. The free sheets sit inside the same directory the paid ones do, marked Free, on the same page as the rest of their skill set. You print what you want and leave the rest.

One honest limit before you start hunting: Faith Schooling is a K–5 publisher covering reading, phonics, spelling, vocabulary, grammar and writing, handwriting, and math. It does not publish science or history. A printables search that ends in a solar-system diagram or a states-and-capitals map will not end here.

Free printables by grade

Every subject and grade combination in the practice library opens the first three sheets of each skill set. The sets are ordered easiest to hardest inside a grade, so the first sets on a grade page are the right place to start if you are not sure where a child sits.

The depth is uneven, and it is better to know that before you go looking. Kindergarten is by far the largest grade — about 9,200 sheets, most of them math — while Grades 1 through 5 each hold roughly 4,000 to 4,700. Pre-K is the thin one: a single set of counting-and-circling pages, three of them open. If what you wanted for a four-year-old was letter tracing, it is filed under Kindergarten phonics as letter tracing and printing, because that is the skill it teaches.

Grade 5 phonics is the smallest phonics collection — roughly 600 sheets on silent letters, spelling lists, and word building rather than a year of new decoding — because by Grade 5 the word work has moved into vocabulary and morphology. Greek and Latin roots are the largest collections in Grade 4 and Grade 5 word study, not in phonics. Knowing that in advance saves you from concluding that something is missing when it was never meant to be there.

How the free worksheets work

Open a subject, choose a grade, and you get that grade's skills grouped into clusters and then into sets. Each set page carries teaching notes written for the parent — what the skill is, when a child is usually ready for it, and what to do if the child struggles — followed by the sheets themselves. The first three are free and clearly badged. The rest of the set is part of the membership.

The free three are not samples of a different, lesser thing. They are the first three sheets of the real set, in the same order a child would meet them, which means a family can work the easy end of an entire skill without paying for anything.

The membership, if you ever want the rest, is $39 a month, or $299 for a founding first year and $349 a year after that. It covers one household, every child, every grade where the resource exists. That is the only paid thing on the site.

Two makers for the page you cannot find

Some printables are better generated than searched for, because the thing you want is specific to your child and this week. Two tools build them in the browser and hand you a PDF.

The Copywork Creator takes a grade from Pre-K to Grade 5, sets the line height and the number of practice lines to match, and prints in trace, copy, or freewrite mode, in manuscript or cursive. It has sample content built in — the alphabet, numbers, grade-level sight words, and Scripture — or you can paste your own text. Building a usable week from free pages

Free printables fail families when they are collected rather than sequenced. A stack of unrelated sheets teaches nothing in particular. This order turns the same free material into a week that moves.

1. Place the child first. HARVEST is a free reading placement that takes about fifteen minutes, runs in your browser, and prints a grade-level report.
2. Open the matching grade page in phonics or math and read the skill list from the top. The sets are ordered easy to hard, so the list is a sequence, not a menu.
3. Print the three free sheets from the set your child is working on, and the three from the set before it. The earlier set is the review; the current one is the lesson.
4. Add one page of copywork from the Copywork Creator, using a verse your family is already saying.
5. Read something connected. The reading comprehension sets open three passages each, and the first three items in each Faith Readers Originals collection are open.
6. At the end of the week, look at what was hard rather than what was finished, and choose next week's set from that.

What is not free, and why it is worth knowing up front

The curriculum itself is the paid part: the six-grade reading textbooks and their teaching guides, the 96 Foundations to Fluency phonics workbooks arranged by pattern rather than by grade, the 300 decodable readers, the ten Learning Cursive workbooks, the Building Number Sense math series for K–5, the weekly lesson sets, and every sheet in a skill set past the first three. So is the workbook builder that merges chosen sheets into one printable packet.

Free without qualification: the whole Apostolic Academy, HARVEST, the Copywork Creator, the Bible Verse Card Maker, the parent tools, the teaching guides you can read online before deciding anything, and the first three sheets of all 529 sets. The games are partly free — Phonics Builder is open in full, all eighty word groups and all four modes, while Grammar Garden opens seven modes and three stories and Faith Thinkers opens two math paths per grade, with the rest of both progressions included in the membership.

Saying which is which plainly is the point. A family should be able to see the real material, print a fortnight of it, and decide on evidence rather than on a description.
