What it is
Numbers to the thousands written into a place-value chart and in expanded form, and numbers to round to the nearest ten and hundred.
When a child is ready
Ready once three-digit numbers are read and written and the child knows which digit is the tens.
If they struggle
For rounding, underline the place being rounded to and look only at the digit to its right: five or more rounds up, four or less stays.
