Teaching Picture Graphs
What it is
Picture graphs with keys of two and five, including half pictures, six questions to answer, and a table to turn into a picture graph.
When a child is ready
Ready once the twos and fives tables are quick and the child knows half of an even number.
If they struggle
Count the whole pictures by the key, then add half the key for a half picture. Write each row's total before answering.
