Teaching Perimeter and Area

What it is

Perimeter and area of rectangles with two-digit side lengths, shapes to name, and a right triangle and a rhombus that is not a square to draw.

When a child is ready

Ready once two-digit by two-digit multiplication is done on paper.

If they struggle

A rhombus that is not a square has four equal sides and no right angles. Draw a square on the dot paper and push its top sideways.
