What it is
A summer review of the year's written multiplication - facts through multi-digit work, depending on the grade - on bright seasonal pages, each sheet backed by a worked answer key at the end of the set. In Grade 4: two-digit by two-digit multiplication — partial products, written out.
When a child is ready
Ready once two-digit by one-digit multiplication is accurate.
If they struggle
Write a zero in the ones place before multiplying by the tens digit. Forgetting that zero is the commonest mistake.
