What it is
A summer review of the year's written multiplication - facts through multi-digit work, depending on the grade - on bright seasonal pages, each sheet backed by a worked answer key at the end of the set. In Grade 3: two-digit numbers times one digit — the first written multiplication with carrying.
When a child is ready
Ready once the times tables to 9 are known.
If they struggle
Multiply the ones first and carry, then the tens, and add the carried digit after multiplying, never before.
