Teaching Division as Equal Groups

What it is

Twelve small division problems, each with a box to share it out as a drawing and a line to check it by multiplying back, and a story problem.

When a child is ready

Start once the child can share a handful of objects fairly.

If they struggle

Deal the dots out one at a time into the groups, like dealing cards, then count one group.
