Teaching Fall Multiplication
What it is
Grade-appropriate written multiplication - from first small products up through carrying, depending on the grade - on pages dressed in pumpkins and maple leaves. Worked answer keys for every sheet close out the set.
When a child is ready
A child is ready after skip counting is comfortable and the grade's plain multiplication pages make sense; older grades should know their facts before the multi-digit sheets.
If they struggle
Say the problem as a sentence - three groups of four - and skip count to check one answer together. If facts are shaky, drill a single family at a time before returning to full pages.
